In early 2006, a visionary group of private investors formed The PowerWise Group, LLC. Creation of this corporation was facilitated by the prior acquisition of assets from a Dallas based startup company focused on energy saving solutions. The acquired assets included a U.S. Patent for an AC electric motor energy savings controller and additional intellectual properties. The investment group's unrelenting commitment to energy conservation was driven by the realization that energy conservation and its related reduction of carbon emissions is a worldwide concern.
Subsequent to the creation of The PowerWise Group, LLC, and in addition to the technologies and solutions intended to serve the industrial marketplace, additional investments were made to further develop intellectual properties and solutions focused on energy conservation for residential/commercial applications. In 2007, a Mexican safety compliance organization granted approval to sell and distribute The PowerWise Group's first residential/commercial solution within Mexico. At the beginning of 2009, The PowerWise Group, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, was established and the current Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and President were assigned.
In mid 2009, The TechnoWise Group, Inc., a Delaware Corporation was established as the operations unit for The PowerWise Group, Inc. The TechnoWise Group, Inc., is responsible for all of the product related activities. In order to better focus on the industrial and residential/commercial business segments, two business units where created within The TechnoWise Group, Inc. namely MotorWise, Inc. and EcoWise, Inc. respectively.
From the beginning, the management team has dedicated tens of millions of dollars to their committment to building the team of the best and brightest engineers available to bring these concepts to realization.
